Geez, you guys forget pretty quickly!  What about last years deal of the year, the Shnoop VX-200 Accutron for $249.  I can't beat that for bang for the buck.

That's part of the fun of this forum,  all the old threads bringing back all those "remember when..." memories.

I have mostly 'affordable' stuff so I'd have to list the Seiko 5s, sport and superior.

Russians, there's lots to be had for that price range.

Orients! I've got a couple that I'll never get rid of

I don't have enough variety to get a top 5 because I also enjoy picking up vintage watches but there's lots in that category that would fit into the price range and bang for buck heading.

I seen a friend the other day wearing a Monster, and man it looked awesome, it was a blk face, on rubber, it just reached out and caught my eye, but I came to 3T with Zeno (coke) Airplane and I miss it, but that monster looked good for a second work watch.  Hmm...Monster looks to be the bang for the buck.

subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif Imagine my surprise when I log in this morning. There's an interesting new thread that wasn't there the night before that has members I don't recognise, but quite a few that I do, then lo and behold, I'm 3/4s of the way through it befor I figure out from someone elses comment, that it's a 2yr old thread. Here I was, thinking that there had been a flurry of activity while I sleptmistake.gifmistake.gifmistake.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif:D.

And no one brought up a Casio G-Shock as one of the best bangs for your buck.

Just picked up a great bang for buck watch -- Zodiac Desert Master -- It really feels like something much more high end.
