About Candino:

In 1947 Adolf Flury-Hug founded Candino in
Herbetswil, Switzerland. The company didn't
make their first watch until 1956.

In 1954 Kurt Flury joined the firm by opening a sales office
in Biel-Bienne,under the management of Armin Flury.
By 1956 a factory was constructed in Herbetswil which
had 80 employees.

On January 16,2001 Candino was bought by
Miguel Rodriguez, the proprietor and CEO of
the Festina Lotus SA. from Kurt Flury.

Hi Shady and thank you for the comments.

Initially I thought my watch was
29 mm in diameter.

I re-measured it again and it's 30 mm x 42 mm
including the crown. I also kept on thinking that
it was a 1950 model, that too has wrong.

Its a 1956 Candino,men's mid-size.

Cheers,
Simon
