The look of the DEb. dial I think needs to be seen in high resolution to fully appreciate.  

That said..I'm still not sure on it.....aside from the dial, all the other brands Tony listed are using the 2824-2 except the Schaumberg.

 



Then it goes to actual location of build....swiss made..  could make the difference, when deciding on one. 

 

One note:  Deep blue is located in NYC, and the owner is easy to contact and talk to. His service is top notch along with his warranty.

And then overall price, presentation, all adds to the final decision on one for me.

this is the most commonly used watch case in the industry dating back many years used not only in dive watches but in pilots,sport and dress so I don't see why all the talk about the case ?....it's the similarity in design and differences in cost along with claims of origin that has me wondering with this new crop of 2000m offerings.:D

Thanks! I'm gonna guess Debaufre had a version like this (with the skeleton hands most likely) but they went with the two-tone style instead.

I like the Triton case design & bracelet; but prefer the dial and hands on the Schaumburg. Money & movements aside, of course.
