This may be a silly question but I'll ask it anyway  mini me.gif

The Speedway Elite in questions says "Swiss Made" on the dial, not "Swiss" or "Swiss Parts".  If this watch was in fact made in Asia isn't that a possible customs violation

After reading all of this I just cannot believe it. This is insane Invicta is a great make and deserves respect.....no no I cant keep a straight face when saying that subtlelaugh.gif

I hope they get caught for doing this also brainwashing and deleting information on sites seem harsh and no freedom of speech. I do own one and its the Diver pro and its ok and inexpensive but all I have heard a lot about is people experiencing nightmare situations such as finding their watch is not what they thought it was. This is just plain unfair to the consumer. Some are happy with watches purchased but the name gets tainted across the whole brand when something like this is done.

I think that we will in time learn about some illegal things they been holding on since very long...
They didn't get dirty over-night: A white sheep isn't turning black after the first rain...
Hell is unleashed and Invicta is at the front seat...party.gif
Soon, they will need a poor devil to take the heat in hope to avoid a crack-down... And who will be that man?toon1.gif...
I will offer a Speedway to the first one who gives me that name!

Just kidding, my watch works and I hold on it suckers!

As those of us who belonging to the WUS Invicta Forum years ago, it was apparent then that Jim Skelton was a narcissist and that Eyal Lalo was a pathelogical liar.  Now the truth is finally coming out.  The lies have become so great and so overwhelming that they are ludicrous.

Why ShopNBC hired Skelton in the 1st place is beyond me...he is a known grifter and con-artist who has apparently spent his life scamming people out of their money.  It is even reported that he stole money being raised for charity in some sort of "cigar" forum scam.  He is nothing short of a dirt-bag that needs to be fired immediately if SNBC is to maintain any credibility.

As for Lalo, the unethical scum of the earth...of course he would spin the "Swiss" story.  What ethical businessman would openly and proudly admit that he saw international standards honored by others as a "gray area" and that he was allowed to use that gray area, if it even exists...to exploit and cheat his customers.

Both of these guys deserve jail time...they are the lowest form of humanity!

Just my 2 cents!

When you are such a man: It's known. Meaning that Invicta took him for what he was and paid him for that: Beeing a good con-artist...Him and his crime-buddy.
Look: It worked! Invicta been selling a lot during years with them, making a fat belly and as I told, they allways have the choice to let those guys taking the heat when it goes wrong...
They will say: "They acted on them own and we didn't know that they was going so far, breaking some laws...Invicta is not standing behind what those men told publicly on TV and forums!"
At the worst, Invicta will close the doors and the owners will run away with thick Swiss accounts...
Maybe starting another company some years after when they will be fed up to cruise the warm seas on luxury yachts, having a mojito in the right hand and a roly on the left wrist with some busty chicks running around in a wet tshirt contest since a blue marlin bite on them custom fishing rod deeping in the turquoise ocean....sponge bob.gif

I've been watching this from the beginning and it's comical......EL reminds me of our politicians in Washington..."Tell the people what they want to hear and when they get caught blame someone else"....If JS gets fired I'm sure EL will hire him  as a company man because he still has a large following.....I'm sure the leagal beagles are hard at work on this one.....mini me.gif

That is it, I have thrown my Invicta in a cupboard, not wearing it again...I may as well walk round with a banner saying hate me.

I found this on a forum posted by TVDinner who I am sure is a member here too!

PUBLIC statement about the current confusion with Swiss and Swiss Made printed on his company's watches - someone had to make an UNofficial counter comment. Here it is:

----------------------------

I have been asked to personally clarify the confusion with the different type of markings on Swiss cheese. I feel I have a confident and open enough relationship with cheese to make a clear statement and get this matter clarified once and for all. Everyone wants to know if it is "Swiss" Cheese or "Swiss Made" Cheese. I know, I know, it is very confusing.

While I know that it is impossible to satisfy everyone, - some people love Cheddar cheese. We get that. But it is our commitment to make top level Swiss cheese that IS NOT moldy and where the holes do not fall off 5 minutes after you get it home! We will not try to deceive our very loyal customer base or do anything to damage that obsessive and completely blind relationship.

There is a definite gray area in the use of the words “Swiss”, “Swiss Made” when it comes to our cheese. The fact of the matter is that, like in many “multiple-component” products, the country of origin where the cow was born adds value to the Swiss cheese product. In the dairy world we tend to highlight that.

A perfect example is the watch industry. You might buy a watch that is manufactured in China using special outer space-Martian engineering and some Swiss parts (like maybe just the the bracket that holds down the battery), etc. The brand focuses on highlighting their “Swiss” standards. Much in the same way, the Swiss cheese industry does when the word "Swiss" is present. Without mentioning brands, it is important to understand that Switzerland almost produces NO CHEESE, except producing some big beefy cows that produce milk that ultimately becomes .... you guessed it....CHEESE. What this means is that if you bought a $6000.00 65mm Cube of "Swiss Made" Cheese from “Brand X”, what you are likely buying is a block of cheese that was made from Swiss cows, BUT the holes in the cheese where actually put there by Chinese factory workers. (And even the Swiss cheese holes themselves have their own origin - a magical and mythical land called Reserveville. This is so secret that even I can not tell you the truth right now, but someday, when the next controversy about our cheese explodes, maybe then I will come clean. Hopefully this brings clarity to everyone what we mean when someone puts “Swiss Made” on their cheese. You know you are buying a Swiss Made Cheese that has only the top top quality holes in it that were HAND ASSEMBLED in Switzerland.

Still confused. I'm sorry to hear that. Let me explain more. Then there is the talk about the Swiss Cheese Federation. I cannot speak too much into the Swiss Cheese Federation standard because I am not a member of it since they just wont let me in no matter how many times I request entrance. I have begged and begged but they wont budge. They think my Swiss Cheese is a knock off of their top quality, well respected, the best ever cheese. For some reason they think my cheese is not legit or up to their Swiss Made standards.

Finally I want to make this 100% clear. Our cheese IS NOT made in Switzerland. It is NOT "Swiss Made". As I have CLEARLY explained above - our cheese is "Swiss" only and that makes all the difference. You might be confused, but you should not be because I have explained it all above. Now stop asking these crazy questions and just buy whatever I have to sell in the dairy section regardless of what pointless word I stamp on the side of our cheese. I hope I have brought some level of clarity to this discussion.

Sincerely,
TVDinner, The Swiss Cheese King

PS - please stop sending me emails asking if the holes are functional holes or just decor holes. You can clearly see that we screw our cheese holes all the way through the cheese by hand.

Long Live The Cheese
