I have seen there adds before and they have great designs. Real cutting edge stuff for the billionaire crowd. I did not even look at the prices.

Nah... too rich for me. If you want complications, go to the Japanese. Citizen produces a variety of them in its Calibre line. True, its in quartz but its the only way to really afford them and besides who wants to wind up a mechanical complication watch each time it stops running? My first serious complication was a Noblia Perpetual Calendar... I never cared for the design and I lost the watch. My recent replacement was a Swiss Army month/day/date/moonphase quartz complication. I can only imagine the cost of the watch as a mechanical. And I'm looking forward to Citizen's new minute repeater watch as my second acquisition in a complication watch. Hey, I like to live affordably. If I have to think about the price tag, I don't want the watch - my rule is if one has to mortgage their house to acquire it, they need to be locked up! :P Last edited on Wed Jul 12th, 2006 12:30 pm by NormanF |

WOW! ... I LOVE These Watches! ... But they're WAA-AY too rich for my blood! ... However, it IS so nice to know that the "Laguna Hills Jet Set" STILL has "money aplenty"; i.e., certainly more than enough to indulge themselves in little baubles an' trikets like these! (Whilst they sip their bottle water and talk about the price of gold and tourbillons, I'm pretty sure that the situation in the Middle East and our troops in Iraq an' Afghanistan are the furthest thing from their minds.) IMHO, when THIS kind of "customer pool" dries up, we're ALL gonna be in "heap plenty trouble!" ... Just MHO and I'm stickin' to it until someone convinces me otherwise! (NB: FWIW, I feel that another "9-11" will be "orchestrated" so that a "Universal-Soldier" Draft can be enacted without a general revolt of the "rank 'n file" citizenry! :dude: It's gonna take THAT to move the Jet Set away from discussing their gas-guzzlers, Learjets and stock options! ... NO WAIT! ... They'll get deferments 'cause they're just "too busy for such stuff!") Last edited on Fri Jul 14th, 2006 06:20 pm by Doofus |
