Quite possibly. They are all pretty much the same. I don't spend a lot of time ,except for channel surfing, paying much attention to these TV shopping stations. I just remember that there was this guy selling coins on one and I swear that he thought his microphone had broken from the way he was bellowing!!

I'm not sure who this J.S. is.  Is this the guy on SlopNBC that purportedly is an expert on eveything from watches to gem stones to hand guns to renting videos at Blockbuster?  The very same one, that is also known on cigar sites as Corono Gorda and on Porn sites as fatecrush?

Is this the same sleazeball that "borrowed" tens of thousands of dollars from unsuspecting friends without the intention of paying them back (and never did) and then solicited product from sponsors as "giveaways" and silent auction items for charity and then privately sold them for his own personal gain? money2.gif

Or is this someone else?mistake.gif

Hmmmm...."that'll be interesting" like J.S being on any other show... other than "Most Wanted" or "Cheaters"......sounds like Jims panties are in a bunch ! Maybe this Jackass should follow the whole thread before commenting..........

Rumor on another forum (that's not known for factual information) is that Watch Commander is teaming up with Tim Temple on Tim's new shows.

I don't know if that's true or not, but all I can say is.... well.... that'll be "interesting" putting those two together.

Oh-well lucky for you!!

Actually-lucky for all of us watch freaks!

Hell- if we can be taken by a TV Watch Show host then I guess then it's shame on us!

The very nature of the (TV selling )beast is no more than hucksterism in its purest form.

Are they guilty of crazy and unsubstantiatied claims?

Or are the viewers guilty of naivety?

It is TV shopping !!

Well.....................basically, this all happened before he became a TV watch host......this happened when he was a plain old con-artist, but, my philosophy is the old adage, "once a thief, always a thief"!

But I digress and did not mean to turn this away from the announcement of a great watch Show Host, Tim Temple!

It may turn out to be a good arragement. Those are the only two guys I watch and, believe it or not, the Commander really is a watch expert. It is hard to tell sometimes by watching his show, but, that guy really knows very high end watches. For some reason he downplays that in favor of the typical TV shopping host. Back in time, viewers used to be able and call in and ask to see watches. I was amazed by the fact he would have some there and if he didn't he would have it on the next show. I would like to see ShopNBCile try that. I know that the host wouldn't have a clue and they would only have the watch if it was an Invicta or a Croton.:D

Tim was in town over the weekend, he showed up unannounced at a club where my band was playing. He told me that he and the WC may actually be doing shows together. He said it actually works quite well.
