Went to Wixon Jewelers in Bloomington, MN for their annual watch fair. Boy, what a drool-worthy affair! For me the highlight was the Jaeger Le Coultre Master Minute Repeater. We got to talk to the JLC rep for a little while as well. The price tag? $175K. In the almost affordable range, the watch that really caught my eye was the Ferrari watch made in conjunction with Panerai. I really like the Panerai look, but the Ferrari, in my opinion, takes it into an entirely different level. The base model was just over $6K. Other watches represented: Rolex, IWC (the perpetual calender in rose gold for $45K was stunning), Panerai, Patek, and A. Lange. I better start saving my money!

Sounds awesome ... the closest I've gotten to watches of that stature is browsing in high end stores in Manhattan ...

Oddly enough, they do stop you at the door. There are 2 sets of security doors that you have to get buzzed in through!
