I really don't see any creativity there? So far all his watches are the SAME, just different paint jobs. Anybody can do this. I know the style of the watch is nice, But a little difference would be acceptable. Maybe a different bezel, new location of date? Or winder? What do ya think? Am I crazy? Every watch has the name Orsa in the same place too. Just my thoughts. Happy and Healthy New Year to everybody!!

This particualr Sea Angler is a one off built for Martrin/Orsa and a personal wearer!,,,I like it and would love to see the beacon of light off that bezelcool10.gif!!! I have had several favorable e-mails with Berg in which I have found out he is running Orsa by himself once again and is genuinely a good guy and knowledgeable WIS who made some mistakes while taking time from his watch biz to build a home and work his regular job...in the interim he made some mistakes by handing over the controls to a less knowledgeable WIS as far as I am concerned and Berg is now ready to work Orsa Watch the way it should be...and this came from what he learned herehand6.gif I give credit to Berg for recognizing the problems and we may be ready to continue a renewed WIS relationship which I look forward to!hand6.gif I can not discredit the Sea Angler series as I have 4 now and wear them often without hesitatation...they look and run Awesome!watch2.gifI hope we can bury the hatchett with Orsa and give Berg a second chance as his 1st was not really his but James....Berg will soon make a statement of his own although his English is not so good he is upfront and comes across much different than who we were dealing with for months!...I'm all for forgive and forget and believe Berg will show us how he feels with a nice surprise for 3T...it's the New Year so let's start it off right!cool10.gif

Always willing to give a man a second chance (James already had second chance - 3rd and 4th for that matter).  From our conversations, I truly believe that Berg may have been hoodwinked by Hendersen "The Gouger", who I have come to think of as a "1st cousin" to Corona Gorda (aka OompaLupah, Tom Braider, Jim Skelton, et al), the snake oil salesman / con artist of all time.

I am perfectly willing to hear what Berg has to say with a totally open mind....and if the words (and the circumstances) are right, I am also totally willing to forgive and forget.  But, I would insist, the James Hendersen, be absolutely out of the picture....not simply lurking somewhere in the background.

The Orsa Sea Anglar is a gorgeous watch....I cannot speak to its quality, as I have thus far been denied the chance to own one....but I would certainly look forward to finding out.........although I am no longer in the mood to pay a lot for one!

So, bottom line...I know there has been a lot of anger over what happened and a lot of "pissoffedness" statements......but, if Oscar (who took the brunt of all of this BS) is willing to take a second look, then I would encourage the rest of us to let it play out with an open mind and listen to what Berg has to say!     jmho

I can't agree Dave as most Watches are similar and that's what makes them differ....Rolex has it's name in the same place for more years than I can rememberface4.gif The Sea Angler is just one model of many in the Orsa line and it's unique characteristics is what defines the model... if you change the bezel or case design it is no longer a Sea Angler...perhaps a colored bezel once in a while but the Dial changes keep it ever changing imhohand6.gif Remember each Sea Angler is a LE of 50....that is what makes it desirable to me besides the way it looks and wears!cool10.gifjust my 2 pennies! Albiet Oscar, I have poked some fun...I think you are correct in your assumption. Martin seems to be a decent guy.

I've vented to no end and done it mainly as a lark and coping mechanism to deal with the disappointment surrounding the Festivus.  However, I will need to remind Oscar Berg JUST posted on another forum the 3T project ended because of the site owner. I would also remind you he made VERY degrading comments as to your mental state which verged on libel. Having said that, you are a VERY kind man with a big heart and if you can find a way to forgive all the garbage which transpired, I will TRY and do so too. I am not as kind or big hearted as you and am fully prepared to drive Orsa into the ground though they seem to have been doing a pretty good job of it themselves.

A statement from Berg would go a long way. I understand his English is not the greatest but it sure beats my second language...NONE!! We can hold Mr. Henderson only so responsible; it was and is Berg's responsibility to monitor the conduct of those who represent his business entity. As for Henderson, I am certain the world will have it's way with him. I believe Orsa is still having trouble meeting its commitments.

It hasn't been too directly mentioned, but I feel another 3T Orsa possibly coming up. For this to happen we need a unique and high quality piece offerred at a gift like discount. Oscar, we cannot allow ourselves to be a cash cow to right Orsa.

I will refrain from dogging Orsa for the time being. I will add I have great reservations and do not share Oscar's positive outlook. I do this against my instincts, which unfortunately are attuned to see a less than stellar outcome... again. I am sorry, but I have looked for the good in human beings and too often seen the worst we have to offer. Having said that, I respect and have great affection for O and hope he is right to allow Berg another shot. I do not want O to take the brunt of another fiasco especially after all the effort put forth. If you haven't received it already, O, I believe you are owed an apology and public retraction of the post pointing at you as the reason for the failure of the 3T project.

May be I should have had a cup of joe...

PEACE Y'ALL

PAX, I agree, and to me, part of Berg's statement must be a public apology both here and on PMWF for his comments.  I also agree on you comments as to pricing of a 3T Orsa, if that is what is in the offing.

As to Berg's responsibility for Hendersen, you are absolutely right, but, he obviously made a bad judgement call as to his character....but then, I can remeber when I vehemently defended that scum-like watchshow host, JS, and Ernie made him a WUS moderator (lapses in judgement for, on my part, at least, I hope I am forgiven).

My point is only, let's hear Mr Berg out with an open mind and try to digest the information logically instead of emotionally and then, each come to our own conclusion based on fact rather than anger.............I, for one, am as angry as anyone.  I was truly looking forward to the Festivus, even though I knew I was getting gouged on it.  (Even $30 for S&H on a $12 package was indefensible.......and to think, that an individual of Hendersen's moral character is a high school guidance counselor!  mistake.gif

BTW.........I know you are so PO'd as to want to send me your Orange Sea Anglar, gratus....I will reluctantly accept it!!!subtlelaugh.gif
