Sorry for the quick photos and short write up but this week is a killer for me!
First watch landed late last week and i have enjoyed it more then ever! It is The Panerai 243 and it was love the first time i strapped it on! It has a 1950's style case in 44mm size and this is just the perfect package for me. A big thanks to Jeff our very own Paneristi resident for answering all my PM"s and helping me choose between the 243 and the new 305 I have never had a harder time deciding between two watches in my life! They are both just outstanding watches IMO! Now for the quick photos i warned you about subtlelaugh.gif
I will take better photos asap but these are all i have for now.

If You are ever thinking of a Panerai i strongly suggest talking with Jeff as he pointed out the pros and cons of both watches to me that were very helpful! Thanks again Jeff!
The second watch is a Crux CX-1 short and sweet on this one. I loved my CX-4 so much I wanted another model with a black dial so i choose the CX-1 mainly because of the dial. I loved the applied markers so the choice was very easy. I also had a Savage strap that i had not found a home for so it worked out great on the CX-1 and Scot from Savage Straps deserves a plug here for such outstanding leather work! Here again are some quick photos...

So there you have it, a 20 min start to finish write up. Sorry it is not more detailed but there are others that i am sure can do both watches more justice both with better photos and write-ups.
Thanks for checking them out guys and I will work on some better photos as I would love to get better at taking watch photos and make that somewhat of a hobby.

Trent!!!...WOW, simply awesome buddy!!!!bravo.gifthumbsup.gif

Both look absolutely amazing...the CRUX enabling around here just doesn't let up, and I have a feeling I might just cave in and have to get one incoming soon.

I imagine the PAM 243 is a very, very special acquisition as it sounds like you've been studying both the 243 and 305 pieces for some time.  No doubt, the decision is win-win either way and this 243 looks absolutely incredible!!!wowzer.gif  The goodness really does shine through, even in your "quick" photos...really great looking piece!!!

I know I don't need to tell you...but please do ENJOY!!!happy guy.gif

Wooohoooo! wowzer.gifBig Congrats, TrentThumbsup3.gif. Those are 2 wonderful pieces and I salute you for such exquisite choices. Thanks for the kind words too. Always glad to help, amigo.

Looking forward to more pix of that "nasty" 243 (I could tell you were trembling with excite when you that picsubtlelaugh.gif) and that bulked-up Crux-1.

Enjoy them both in good healthThumbsUp02.gif

Trent
That 243 is all the rage!  Fantastic choice.
The Crux is slowly but surely making its way up my wishlist.....The fact that this is your second Crux is enough underwriting from you, at least!
Enjoy both in good health!
