This one just in Fricker case always wanted to buy a Seal but IMO they were always over priced, this scratches the itch nicely please pardon my terrible photograpy:

lol I can barely take a pic in the daylight, I will say the lume lasts all night, it's much better than what I've heard about Kobold lume and it's also much better than my U1 not as good as my Seiko MM. The second hand is also fully lumed

very solid clicks no play once engaged, it's running at -2 sec/ 24hrs, I'm very happy with it. I compared it to a friends Seal and the case work is identical. Also, in the box was a small paper thats was a receipt from pressure testing in German, just like the one that came ini my Korsbek so I'm sure this is a Fricker cased diver. I don't know what happened to the relationship between Kobold and Fricker, but it's nice to be able to get this watch and not spend $4k new on a Seal

Congrats!,....the WCT dial is my fave of the recent Kobold case divers that came out.ThumbsUp02.gif
...and a little FYI...nothing happened between Fricker and Kobold...Kobold spent a lot of money on building their own case manufacture here in the states with CNC machines and the the whole gambit,so why would they continue on with Fricker.

Hi Oscar and thanks, I work for a manufacturing company and we do quite a bit of custom items, when the end-user enlists us to make their item they can either pay all tooling costs, deelopment etc....up front or amortize the cost over a set number of pieces that they agree to take. In the later scenario if they don't take the agreed to number of pieces, ownership of the custom piece reverts back to us, or in a rare case we can sue and try to hold them to their contract.

It just seemed odd to see theses cases show up with Diveas first and now here, but I guess Kobold never owned the rights to the case.
