Had to be one of the longest college games ever almost 5 hrs long and three overtimes.  There was no irish luck for Lions as freshman kicker kelly missed three game winning field goals and was only aided by the seminoles dyslexic kicker to keep the game going.  Hopefully my prayers will be answered and Joepa will retire and let the real coaches take over.

The team is really run by Galen Hall, an excellent coach (former Gators head Coach), and while the "noles lost, at #22 vs #3, joepa had his ass kicked in the coaching arena!

The Noles could only get around 25 yards rushing the entire game and if it were not for two "big" plays this would not have even been a game. Meanwhile PSU lost their two starting running backs and had the 2nd string back gain over 125yds. Besides, Hall and Bradley run the team and JoePa is just a grumppy old man....my 2 cents

ass soon as we get a real president of the university he will be fired and his asshole son will be unemployed too.  the noles could not sell 8000 of their tickets.  penn state bought them all .

Oh also forgot .  Ken Galen Hall is a graduate of penn state too.  he was a starting quarterback there under rip engle.  he also had in his contract at florida that he had the option to cancel his contract if he were offered the head coaching position at PSU.  And you are correct.  Joe is just a figure head albeit a rich one.  hall and bradley have total control not joe.

Isn't that what I said?

On the "out-coaching" issue, I understand it's simply personal opinion.  A huge Gator fan, I am no fan of Bobby Bowden and the Seminoles, (as a matter of fact, my favorite team is the Gators and whoever is playing against the Seminoles!).  BUT, despite having much of his 1st team decimated with injuries and suspensions, Bowden coached his team to a margin (albeit losing) that should have been have been MUCH wider margin considering that the #3 team was playing the #22 team with a very poor seaon record!

As an aside, the Seminole fans are VERY spoiled and rarely show up unless it's for thr National Championship!

joepa, if not outcoached, should have won that game by 14 points, especially considering, as you pointed out, FSU had no offense at all!

That said, both coaches are at least 5 years past their retirement dates and 10 years past their prime as coaches, as the game has passed them by!!!

I believe that Hall is a very good coach and would have had a much longer run at Florida had the Gators not had the chance to pick up Spurrier!!!

Bottom line, all the major bowls, Sugar, Orange and Rose were great games this year!
