Can't agree more about a playoff....but barring that, we have to use what we use and no system is perfect.....look how many #1 Basketball Teams get knocked off in the March Madness because of injuries, being flat, etc. So even a playoff doesn't really work....that said, in addition to the BCS Poll that everyone hates and finds fault with, the professionals in the sport (ie: the AP "sportwriter's" Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll) also voted the Gators #2. As to the National Title, I'm not sure anybody can beat Ohio, but then, who thought UCLA was going to kick USC in the ass?
