Hello everyone, this is my first post here. Thought i just want to share my little bundle of joy. Did a bit of brushing to the straps to make it look used. :)

Warm welceom to 3T and big congrats on the watchhand6.gif.

If you want to make the strap look beat-up and used, try some kitchen scrubbing pads going 1 direction and don't forget to include the edges (same trick I did to my brand new boatshoes).

You can also experiment with some drain de-clogger.....apply some of it on the leather as you scuff. For practice, try an old belt or an old leather shoe. I overdid one of my straps and I need to practice again.mistake.gif

Looking good there! Those Cali dials are starting to grow on me.

Welcome to 3T; the watch knowledge here (not mine) is impressive to say the least

Great watch. I have an early vintage Kampschwimmer and it is wonderful. Lots of strap options too though I like your touch on this strap. Very nice.:D

Thanks guys! I will try various methods suggested here when i have the time. What i did was brushing newspaper on the strap, plus a little mink oil to waterproof it. woohoo.gif
