Chris and Oscar.....I missed your Focal new arrivals. My wife and daughter surprised me almost 2 weeks ago for my birthday and we were always on the move.

I've had my Focal now for about 6 weeks and it is definitely a keeper.

I'm planning a hiking trip in the mountains and I want to take this watch due to its scratch resistence.

I was wondering if the ETA 2824-2 is a 'standard' or 'top' grade movement? And does the watch have any shock protection?

Anyone?

The movement used in the Focal is the Elabore grade. Individually regulated for optimal accuracy and decorated with our Dievas custom DLC rotor.

Sincerely

Superb, William. I also think it's a perfect fit for your wrist. The height of the case is just fine. Enjoy it, amigo!bravo.gif

Really nice photos and that watch is one of my favorites.  Clean, efficient and really like the placement of the protected crown.  Enjoy it for many years!

Thanks Jeff and MBGCARL ! Yes, this case is not as high as a classic Kobold and I appreciate the difference in fact: Wears more comfortable!
It's a watch for the adventure and the mission for sure

This looks great. I'm about to become an owner of the Vortex Pro. Can I assume this new rubber strap will fit the Vortex case also? While i'm at it, I might as well dream and ask if the rubber will ever be available in white with a PVD clasp? That would make the Vortex Pro an absolutely killer package.
