I know that everyone is anxiously waiting for news on the Moray production and shipping. Since 3T is a forum that you are able to follow the watch from concept through to shipping, you also get to experience the delays. I think most companies would just not let the public know about the design, production, and details that have to be resolved, so this delay is just part of the process that you get to experience.

Production has started this week, but after testing the samples, Ralf and I decided that the threaded lug bar with the matching threads inside the case lug would be problematic over the long term life of the watch. We decided to change the lug bar to be like the Sea Devil with the screws on the outside and no threads on the case. I do not have a picture yet of how this looks, but it is easy to imagine. This is a better system for the bracelet and will keep people from stripping the threads on the inside of the case and ruining their watch.

as mentioned at the top, production is starting this week, but there is not a specific date that I can say as to when your watch will ship, Ralf and I are still talking about the shipping details.

Thank you for your patience, in the future we will probably add time for delays so we are not rushed because the customers have an expectation that we cannot meet. Because we did not rush this production to be at the end of June, you will have a better watch in the end.

Greetings from Kansas,
Steve Laughlin

Well, as much as i want the watch ASAP, i appreciate that you guys chose quality over shipping date.  Take your time guys, we'll take it when it's ready.  It will just give some of my other watches more wrist time since i think the Moray will have a lot once I have it!!!;)

Sorry to see about the production issues but I'm encouraged to see that you folks are not trying to take the easy/short solution way out and rush this watch to your anxious customers.

Thanks for the update and thanks for making the right/tough decison.

This watch will be well worth the wait and if it is that much easier to change straps/bracelets going forward then this change is worth waiting for.

Just to echo the sentiments of everyone else really. Glad you are putting quality first. A few weeks spent at a critical time like this will save you a LOT of time (and money!) later on down the line.

Also thank you for the update. It's appreciated :)
