Final samples for the GMT bezels (in lumed sapphire) have just arrived, and I think they were worth all the trouble! The factories hate doing these, apparently, because the lume paint and black background screens are really hard to line up well, so they wind up with loads of discards. I'll post more pics as I play with them this week, but here is a first teaser shot of the version B (background lumed) sapphire bezel, now installed on the version b sample:

And, just because no one really likes a tease, here's a straight-up shot, too. dog smile.gif

(Both are just quickie camera phone shots, so don't be too harsh!)

That version B (background lumed) sapphire bezel did turn out much better than I thought it would...looks great!!!...and matches the lume markers on the dial perfectly!!!thumbsup.gif

Ah come on.  You have to give us a lume shot.  Even if it isn't the greatest.

How close in intensity is the lume on the bezel to the lume on the hands and dial?

Sorry for the delayed response - I was traveling for a few days.
Will try to get a lume shot up later today as I settle back in!

Here are a couple of quick iPhone pictures, please forgive the quality of the shots, but I think they do a decent job of showing how it works:

One of our members has kindly offered to do some more professional shots, and if I can wrap up my tinkering and testing of the samples, I may have time to take him up on it - trying to figure out schedule now!

Best,
Chris
