I know that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but after reading some of the topics in this forum, it has become quite clear that there are some foundational, basic principles to follow when selecting a new watch to buy when adding to a collection.

A HUGE thanks to everyone who has generated and provided great pointers to follow so when I begin adding to my already started collection, my buying behavior is based on the solid principles received from the contributors of this forum.

Thanks again everyone!...hand6.gif

Hey Guys (Girls???)

I just got out of the hospital and subsequent knee manipulation from a motorcycle accident a year & a half ago, so what better way to spend my time, other than melting ice bags looking for a solid "TOOL" watch or arguably THE best one out there.

* Marathon JSAR (Swiss Quartz)
* SEIKO 6R15A Diver (SUMO)
* Christopher Ward's new C600 Tri-Tech Diver Elite or his equally new C40 Speedhawk Automatic Chrono. Now I know the list goes on, and the choices above are varied, but whether chrono auto or plain swiss quartz, suffice it to say, I like a watch that is BIG!!! Right now, I'm favouring the Marathon JSAR not the CSAR cuz I can get the same movement in Chris Ward's C40.

Any opinions??? hand6.gif

Take a peak at one of my old Rolex pieces from the past
