Hello everyone!

Im a Swedish 41 year old geek that recently bought my first Armida (secondhand). Its an A4 with the blue sunburst dial and the orange minute hand.

Im no diver, from occasional snorkling during a hot summer day. However i do spend much time near water since i like to fish. :)

My regards to you all.
Patrik S.

Warm welcome to 3T Patrik! bravo.gif

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. You will find both divers and non-divers here on the forums, and a number of guys that like to fish too. (despite the fact that I live in a land-locked state, I love to dive & snorkel on vacation and fish when I can).

That Armida A4 combo that you just picked up is my favorite combo from the A4 lineup...love that orange minute hand against that sweet sunburst blue dial! thumbsup.gif

Feel free to jump right into the conversation, and post often.

Thank you Stew77!

I do like to photograph and i love combining my hobbies. So i tend to have many pics of my watches. However i am an amateur when it comes to watches, only have the basic knowledge.

I have not seen many Armida´s in Sweden. The first one i saw was an A1 and it was also for sale. Someone else beat me to it. Second time i saw one was this A4. Sent a quick mail to Armida with a question, once that was answerd i bought it. Been using it almost everyday since then.

Its definatly one of those watches that once you wear it, you dont want to take it off. Love the feeling of the weight and it looks superb both in and out of water. :)

Thank you!

Always loved watches, but i have never taken the time previously to actually learn more about them.

I´ve been having this crush on a Omega Speedmaster Pro Moonwatch. But since i bought the Armida A4, im feeling a bit split.

The Omega costs a h*&% of a lot! But i still want to buy 2 more from the Armida´s series.  As a watchgeek one will find a way to rationalize a good reason why one can´t buy all three of them. crazy.gif

Welcome Patrik! The Speedmaster Pro is a fantastic watch: If you buy one, you will not regret.
I got mine made brand new and for less: Bought all the parts and got it mounted by a friend so the cost was reduced to half nearly.
If you`re lucky enough to find a NOS 861 movement like I did, the rest will flow

Thank you all for the warm welcome, makes one feel right at home! my love.gif

I realized yesterday that the Omega aint going anywhere, it will always be available. So i dont need to be in a hurry and buy it this year as i first planned. (Bad case of tunnel vision).

As for my other watches, one wont find anything amazing. As you´ll see from the photo. The G-shock is no longer in my collection, gave it to my brother.

Im happy to answer any questions you all might have. ThumbsUp02.gif
