I just got my Dievas Code Red Dive watch in Stainless Steel. I tried to upload photos before my 2 year old could get to my laptop. You know who won that one. So photos will be up soon.

Let me just say the photos on Anders website are accurate  but I think the watch looks better than the photos.

So lets get to a mini review after one half day with the watch.

Presentation/Packaging are excellent. Watch came from Singapore to California in 5 days including the weekend so I am pretty happy with that. The box is sealed with a nice wax seal and then you open that to the inner box which is a leatherette. A manual and nice polishing cloth are included. A nice package.

The watch itself is really cool and you can tell there was a lot of attention to details in the design of the watch.

I have to say that this watch has pleased me more than many others I have had in a long while.

The lume is awesome and the contrast between the green hands and red dial really pop.

The multi layered dial is a nice touch and the red on the dial is a nice shade of red. You see it but it is not screaming at you. Very tastful and unique!! The hands are also really nice and pop on the dial. Of all the tritium dialed watches out there there are not to many with this type of nice integrated design. Most of the Tritium divers in this price range look like.... well lets just say they are no where near as nice as this Dievas is. I also like the numbered chapter ring. It is nicely color matches wth the rest of the dial and flat color which will fade away unless you look for it. I think it gves the watch its psuedo military look. The red tritium really glows nice and the hands really glow strong. Awesome lume.

The case is large but comfortable. In fact, if it were not for the weight you would not notice it on the wrist. The case is also fairly thick. It is a heavy and chunky watch!! Nice for sure!

The crown is easy to grip and screws down nicely. It is signed as well.

The bezel is very nicely finished. The bezel turns very smooth and aligns at 12 o'clock. The only problem I have with it is not tritium traser here?? The lume fill on the bezel dot does not provide a long term glow and is a little dissapointing. The finish and look of the bezel are first class though.

The crystal is awesome. The flat thick anti-reflective sapphire is very nice at this price!!

Bracelet is good. The bracelet is 22m non-tapering and 4mm thick. It is a substantial bracelet and is secured with double screw pins. The finishing on the bracelet could be better and the edges are just a little rough. The clasp is signed and a deployment with no divers extension.

All in all a fantastic watch. It is well worth the money and is a keeper for me. I love the unique design and quality components. Little details like having the edges of the date window red make the watch extra cool to me. The service and packaging are icing on the cake.

If you have been thinking of the Zeta I think you will be very happy to have one. I think in terms of fit and finish this watch is better than most in its price range.

Anders will sell a lot of these I think!! Awesome combination of features for the price!!
