I have the same turntable and absolutely love it. I spin CD's as well and recently looked at the Wadia unit but couldn't bring myself to start using my ipod as a serious music outlet. What are you using as a DAC ? I've been told that this piece is key to the itransport's successes. I too have a couple of tube amps including an older Scott in mint condition. I think I've spent almost as much money rolling tubes as I have on custom made watch straps.
I'm also a huge Kobold fan but recently received my new Vortex. I think you'll be very happy and surprised with this watch especially given the price. It is on my wrist often -right up there with my Kobolds.
