I have been on a quest for a new tool watch; but it had to have some criteria met;

Tritium lume

Auto movement

Sapphire crystal

Good size (44-46 mm)

Steel Bracelet

Oh yeah, and affordable

Some of the candidates were, of course a Marathon GSAR, the Dievas Code Red, Praetorian Signifer amongst others. And then I saw that Deep Blue had this new model: DayNight Ops.

I'm not much into the name, but everything else works great. As you might expect, it is a tank with a 44.5 mm case, 22 mm lugs. It is powered with an affordable but reliable Miyota 8215 movement. Blue Tritium for lume with a double orange marker at the 12 and tritium marker in the bezel. The steel bracelet is a non tapering 22 mm and is quite comfortable. Also has a 300m WR rating. And finally, at $350 it's package that is hard to beat!!

I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story;

The case back...

And, of course the Lume :cool:

Thanks for looking woohoo.gif
