....U1 fully tegimented

Looks awesome, of course! Another trip to the Sinn factory yesterday?

Congrats and enjoy your fully tegimented goodness....Sinning!!!!!!

Unfortunately, not Chris. subtlelaugh.gif

I got the chance to buy this watch for a good price. The watch is new (full set) with full garanty.

So I couldn't resist.

Love the absolutely toolish design of the U1.

Really really comfi on my wrist.

That's awesome Phil! Great to hear you were able to find this new, full set U1 at a great price!!! (and the fully tegimented model to boot!)

I must say, you've had a spectacular start to the new year already my friend!!!happy guy.gif

So the U1 is a bit thinner overall in case thickness compared to the U2??? Is that the main difference other than the obvious 3-hander versus gmt design? Looking at side by side pics out there, they really do look fairly different (enough to have BOTH!!! Yes?).thumbsup.gif

Yes, a good start, a bit too good I think subtlelaugh.gif

Yes, the U2 is a bit thicker then the U1.

U1 = 14.3mm
U2 = 15,5mm

The U2 is thicker to do justice the water resistance of 2000 meter. While the U1 has only 1000 meter water resistance.

The U2 has a slightly domed sapphire crystal. And the U1 has a flat sapphire crystal.
Moreover, the case back of the U2 is slightly thicker compared to the U1.

Case and bezel are exactly the same parts.

Thanks for the detailed stats between the two Phil!

Different enough for sure...great that the case and bezel are the same, so you can swap your sdr bezel between the two. thumbsup.gif
