Hi Stew
Having had 44mm luminous and 47mm subs and a cracker 47mm 6152, I am not an expert, but I know what I like. The slim cased rads are not very WR. It's a triumph of style over substance, sadly. I appreciate the thinner case design and slimness of the new inhouse. I rarely go deeper than 10 meters even with my legitimate diver watches. Perhaps it's a nod to the purpose to which we put our watches these days. As a style statement, I love the vintage lume, the sandwich dial and the whole shebang. If I was a regular diver to great depth, I would have to look elsewhere. Panerai are following a new path with this one, and deferring to divers mainly with the submersible line. What do you think? Would you buy one of the new rads, even with the weak WR?
