Well, I like the all thing: I wish it was a Swiss or German model with ETA inside...But I may ask too much there. It would have been a good "Anonimomage" for less...

I am not getting the Anonimo vibe from this one, but the face and fonts sure reminds me of the Glycine Lagunare, and I like the retro compressor case. Prices? Details? Another nice one from Halios, I reckon... Cheers all! IanM

It's just reminds me of the Millemetri design: I never ment that it was purely copied on it. http://www.watchseller.com/anmil1.html

Not sure if there's a price yet, but here are the specs from another watch forum's thread: Tale of the tape: - Width (3-9): 43mm - Lug-to-lug (12-6): 49mm - Thickness: 15mm - Lug width: 22mm Other good stuff: - ETA 2824-2 movement with Incabloc shock protection - Flat sapphire crystal, underside anti-reflective coating - The ubiquitous but requisite 316L stainless steel - 500M water resistance - Soft iron inner case for additional antimagnetic resistance - Non-screwdown crown at 2 allows for underwater adjustment of the inner elapsed time bezel The watch will ship with a bracelet and most likely an additional strap (nylon NATO or rubber). Packaging hasn't been decided on yet.

That's a cool one William! Like others, I'm just not seeing any Anonimo resemblance (Millemetri or other). (Is it the fixed outer bezel Will???...maybe, but I'm just not seeing it with this one). Anyway, it's a cool looking internal bezel model and will, no doubt, wear with a whole lot of wrist presence given the 3-9 dimension of 43mm. I'm expecting it will wear much larger than 43mm due to the internal bezel design which gives the impression of a large dial area combined with that case design which has that large extended 'cushion' shape to it. It's a good looking prototype if you ask me!

stew77 wrote:That's a cool one William! It's just about the bezel and the double crown feature, the way the case goes around the crowns and the inclinations of the bezel/case. Now, offcourse, it's not an Anonimo replica but has a bit of the style in my eyes. It's just a question of similar designs. Now, if you all tell me that this Laguna is looking like nothing else: I will just laugh hard. Even the Laguna name been allready used for watches... Anyway, it's looking good.

Here is another shot that Halios has made available of the Laguna prototype (+ some CAD renderings)... Looks very unique to me...although I do see some bits of Halios dna scattered around the design of this one. Hmmm...I don't have any "internal bezel" pieces in the lineup... ![]()

both Halios I owned seemed as if the lugs were cut short and the bracelets did not have a clean fit at the lugs other than that they were great ...I like this compressor case but no screw down crowns on a watch with 500m water resistance?...I'll wait to see some better pics and reviews before I make up my mind ...the sales forums will be a good place to buy imo down the road...

I missed this thread again. Darn! To Oscar's point....500m WR without a screw down sounds strange. Even the gaskets, which actually ensure the WR, may give if not with a screw down crown. Other than that, the watch looks ok....small, but ok.

I have been searching for a long time for a CHUNKY , STYLISH stainless steel 24mm straight end bracelet for the MORAY 2 at about 4mm thick or so. Closest is the watchadoo but I have other watches on them already so I want something new . I simply cannot find what I am looking for on any websites and my recent purchase of an oyster style one was very disappointing. Then I see the micro brand bracelets and just love them. I love the HALIOS one . Leather is tough for me because of where I live. It is hot, dirty, I sweat alot, swim alot and bash the heck out of my watches so steel is ideal. I would like to be able to contact a maker and tell them what I want and pay accordingly but I realise the logistics and cost scales of steel are different to leather.

Yes Steve tipped me in to Strapcode ages ago. They have one 24mm brushed SS that is basically the same as a Watchadoo. One mesh ( I am not into mesh ) One combo solid link / mesh that I don't like.

Er.......I have googled until my fingers have bled. No-one in the WIS community has been able to provide a source so that leads me to believe the only way I could get one is to get a custom but again - it is frustrating to look at the Halios for eg and know that SOMEONE SOMEWHERE is making a nice bracelet !

I was not implying that GI was more helpful than TTT ! I meant more helpful than using Google Text. Yes I am aware of that listing and had poured over it previously . Not sure how I missed the SFT bracelet but at any rate not suitable@ 22mm only and with polished inserts!. I love that Marathon steel.
