I like the complications, and the skeletonization - but not on a diver watch.  Also, it looks like they put a bezel from a Seiko Monster on it, imho - they missed the mark with this one.

it's a definite collectible but then what isn't that Richard Mille builds....it's his 1st round watch and 1st diver so it would be considered an investment piece for sure, not to mention a tourbillon/chrono to boot....don't know if anyone would ever wear it diving! :D

I would get euphoric and die if I had to dive with it.

Great watch though the divers case would go a long way towards protecting the movement.

As a dive watch just too much going on to be practical and realistic as a tool watch.  As a work of art great.

Talk about overkill...but if you want a watch that has it all and you can see through it underwater....I'll take two!!!

I tend to like all of RM's designs.  I like this one also.  I just love all of the mechanics of it.  I wouldnt turn my nose up at it if someone offered it to me.  Like that would ever happen. ;)

Shoot me if ya want, but ya can't see thru a skeleton when it is on the wrist. Tourbillon is fine. Static and off the wrist it sure looks the part, doesn't it. Beautiful in an over the top, architectural, neoclassical overkill type of way. I reckon a lot of divers will die of the bends trying to figure the thing out... face4.gif

No - I wouldn't have one unless it was a gift - cos I might enjoy wearing it as a brand ambassador...

Cheers all!!

I agree with the general consensus on this one. hand6.gif

This is a visually gorgeous complication for the wrist...I agree that you would be attracting all sorts of crazy attention walking around with this on your wrist.

The beauty of the mechanical complication and execution on this piece really does have me drooling (I do like the execution of SOME skeletons and this is definitely one that makes me say WOW!!).yahoo.gif

But, like the consensus has already remarked, to call this a "DIVER" is somewhat far fetched as it lacks the functionality/readability of divers that we all know and love.

To me it is like a concept car. A great looking piece but it may or may not be practical.

That's an interesting way to look at it. Excellent analogy ThumbsUp02.gif.
