Hello -

James Henderson here of Orsa USA. Martin and I are PROUD to give you a sneak preview of the newest Orsa Sea Angler. I am NOT going to give you a delivery date (although I will tell you that with luck, it will be deliverable before Christmas!), and I will NOT give the sales price yet - hang in there!

I will tell you that it ROCKS, is produced by our friends in Switzerland, and Martin has exceeded himself this time!

While I have your attention, I want to let you know about some changes we've made - US based service center, we are doing the "beta run" of a loaner program whereby we send you an Orsa to wear while yours is being serviced, active response team (okay, a team of one, but I am DEDICATED), nifty new ideas to make the Orsa experience an even better one for you - including - hold on - the Orsa Club - more details to follow about that!
Hats, t-shirts, etc. are promised!

I cannot promise, but what if... we produced a limited edition 3T Orsa Sea Angler - would there be any takers? How would you like it to look?

Both Martin and I, and our pals in Oceania and France are REALLY excited about this new phase for Orsa! We hope to launch an Orsa forum soon -

Is this something that might be hosted by 3T?

Enough for one evening, but I look forward to hearing from you!

Your accomplice in time -

James let me ask you a question about the current release of the Sea Angler, does the dial have 3 diff. elevations or is it an illusion due to the graphical design work on the dial?  From the date window the dial appears flat just was not sure and have wanted to ask.

Hello All -

I will try briefly answer all of the questions asked -

1. Color - as some of you so aptly stated, Orsa runs limited editions of 50. Although we have already run Orange and Black, you never know, we might bring black and/orange back - please let us know!

2. Blue could be in the works, although we already did one in quartz some time ago.

3. As far as the dial goes, I believe that it is "multi-layered". I have not seen the dial "in person" yet, but promise an update on this question.

All the best -

I would be very pleased to see a 3T edition...I bet we could get 50 sold post haste. I would prefer a sapphire cyrstal be standard and not an add on and would expect pricing to remain as it is is near the $500 mark.

I love my orange sea angler, thought about a silver Swiss made but held off... I don't think I could resist a LE for 3T.

I've always loved the ORSA look but every one I saw listed was quartz (a personal no-no).  I just recently became aware of the ORSA automatic and would be very interested in a 3T.............especially if it were a 1st in yellow!!!!

I think blue would be a great idea.  I've noticed that the preowned blue quartz Orsa's are much in demand now that they're no longer being produced. The blue used in those dials seems to be unique-- I've never seen another watch with exactly that kind of blue dial. Stowa's comes closest, but it's not quite the same.
I think blue would sell.
