Are all the "old" automatic Sea Anglers (mine is the black face/orange hands model) supposed to have the edition or issue number (ie. 22/50 for example) on the back of the case? I know that each model was only produced in a limited number of 50 pieces and I don't believe that either of the two that I've owned have the numbers...... was this started later in the production line? thanks.

I think that only the silver sea anglers had numbers. The Lume version might have as well. I'm quite sure the orange and black didn't.

I know that this isn't related to the sea angler.... but the monstrums should be done in limited editions of 100 pieces per dial color....how we know that they are not done in more pieces since there isn't any kind of numbering on the case?

The Sea Anglers (prior to the 2 Swiss Made LE's which were advertised as such) were also not considered LE's either. I know that this isn't related to the sea angler....

Yes only the silver and lume versions are numbered, but it is my understanding all the other dial colors for the Sea Angler had only 50 made as well (maybe I'm wrong). I think there are so far 10 3T Sea Anglers, and however many are still in the works (I think another 15, but they will have a different dial).

" here is the link : http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_forum.php?id=8 in the title it says.... "New orsa monstrum 300M Blue Dial limited to 100 pieces" I would interpret that as Linited Edition...wouldn't you? and in other posts I found too that is to be produced in 100 pieces per dial color...but without the numbers on the caseback it can be produced in x copies... dadog13 wrote: Your painting with a broad brush there dadog.....a limited edition is proclaimed a LE and is numbered to reflect that designation.....limited in this case means limted production to only 100 pieces! All the original Sea Anglers did. Only the Monstrum has the Miyota movement. Upcoming Sea Anglers might be quartz only though.
