Missed the mailman yesterday mistake.gif so I had to wait until this morning for this boy10.gif

Had to do a quick strap change... While I wait for Greg Stevens's T.Moro w/ blue stitch for the Kampfschwimmer (I think the blue stitch will complement the blue hands very nicely)...

I put the Kampfschwimmer on a 24/24 Europelli black baseball w/ khaki stitching

The rest of the family wanted to welcome the latest addition...

Big thanks to Marc @ IW for making it happen and to everyone for looking toon1.gif

I think the angle the pictures were taken make the Kampfschwimmer look much bigger than the Base, but it doesnt wear any bigger than the latter.
47mm is the new 44mm! yourock.gif

I love big watches too but I think 47mm is my max. I tried on a 50mm U-Boat and it was just too big. Couldn't pull off a 46mm B&R either.
These side-by-sides are a better indicator of the relative sizes of the Base and the Kampfschwimmer.

I think Rad should be 47mm.. at least for me.  I tried the black seal and find it too small.  Was comtemplating getting the 1938 earlier from Pam.

Get the 1938 while you can. Have you seen the Panerai price increase for April 1? Jeezus! My grail Rad is the 190 with the JLC 8 Day movement.

I got a chance to try on a 123 - it was already spoken for :( - it was very, very sweet. Definitely one of the top two destros - the 217 being the other.

The only 123 I saw in person was a shadow piece.  No serial no.  How cool is that right?
