Sorry guys. Been very busy. We are revamping some of our packaging. So a bit busy with them now.

The Aqualuna are already done and assembled as we speak. But we need to time and check them again once they reach our office. We usually run at least 2-3 tests. But dont worry, to make things more efficient, we bought another timing machine.

Next week, Ill be able to show some teasers. So hang on guys!

Anders

AquaLuna? That sounds like a moonphase, but it can't be 'cause it has the (now rarer 'n rarer) ETA-2824! So, I also cannot wait for MORE images!

Just amezing Anders.  From the straight on shots I can see the wave dial and the half skelten hands.  The hands are perfect, they look thick.  Also I like where you put the name Dievas at 12 and Aqualuna at 9.  I think both look (bl& gry) awesome, but I think, I'm just going to have to get me that blue.  Gee Anders you have this puppy at 19mm thick.  Awesome Anders and there is only one more thing to say about this big dog......perfect.gifperfect.gif

Wow!  The dial design is fantastic!  I'm really impressed both with the raw design and its execution.cool10.gif

Two questions:  Do you have any shots of the case from the side or at an angle?  Any chance of a PVD version?

Either way I now have to decide which color dial to get. hearteyes.gif

Thank You guys.
Both dials are pretty different if you stare hard enough(sorry for the lousy pictures).

The gray is black with gray waves.
The blue is black with off-black waves.

I love the both of them to be honest.

PVD are in the pipeline. But probably available only in 2 months time.

PS: Ill post a complete set of pictures next week or so when they are all ready.

Cheers
Anders

Hi All,

I have the AL in blue and it's really a good, hefty and substantial watch. The only remark I can make is that watch can benefit aesthetically for sure if the center links were polished to mirror finish. This will provide a gleaming contrast to the matt finishing of other parts of the watch. Sadly for me, my eldest son (20 years old), who saw the pic on the Dievas website and who I am grooming to be a watch afficionado one day, begged for it. With a heavy heart, it goes to him. But it makes me happy that a great watch stays within the family. If only Dievas can make one in 48mm with the same thickness and even more weight, I'd buy 2 more!!! Regards to all.

Congratulations to Anders and all the team at Dievas!
Not only is the AQUALUNA a top quality piece of craftsmanship, but they have taken the unprecedented step of donating part of the proceeds of each sale of their newly launched divers watch to “Project Manta”. This Australian marine research project based out of the University of Queensland, is investigating the biology and ecology of the gentle giants of the ocean, manta rays.
Using cutting edge tagging and satellite technology, “Project Manta” is engaging scientists, industry partners and the general public in a comprehensive study of manta rays that will simultaneously enhance our knowledge of the species and provide a basis for long-term monitoring of the environment.
“Project Manta” together with Dievas is calling divers and watch lovers from around the world, to join in their efforts to understand these gentle giants and to directly contribute to an important marine conservation research project. The back of each watchcase has the image of a manta ray, to remind divers of the positive contributions they made to this research project.
Thanks again Anders and Dievas!
Dr Kathy Townsend - lead scientist for Project Manta
