an Auguste Reymond Mega Boogie from shopnbc. I have always liked the watch and after looking at the Invicta Executive (new) in nrg's posts I decided it was a pretty good value. You don't get the really fancy dial the Executive has, but you do get a sapphire crystal (front) and a nicely decorated movement. You also get a bit of heritage and history with the name. Auguste Reymond and Unitas were once one and the same (so-to-speak). shopnbc lists the size at 42mm. Others have it at 43mm and 44mm. It would be nice if people could measure a friggen case size. I see that a lot in listings (i.e. varrious case measurements for the same watch at different vendors). I got the black or gray dial. With the $20 off coupon and the $1.99 shipping it was a good deal. Scheduled delivery is mid-March. UPDATE: I CANCELLED THE ORDER :) Last edited on Fri Feb 17th, 2006 01:59 pm by mcwright |

Really?? I didn't even know Auguste Reymond made a watch without a decorated movement. But, thanks for the heads up. That's disappointing. Maybe I should just canel the order???? Last edited on Fri Feb 17th, 2006 01:41 pm by mcwright |

Okay, I'm confused...............will the movement be "raw" like the new Invicta Executive (which is dog ugly) or minimally decorated and tastefully "dimpled" like the old Executive or the Trias Unitas? Also, I just looked up the price on the puppy, and it is about double what I paid for my Trias Unitas 6498 (a ZENO by any other name)!!! Last edited on Fri Feb 17th, 2006 07:48 pm by KenC |

From what i understand, U will receive a dimpled movement much like the one in your Trias watch. But, it won't be the ARSA signed movement which has (I believe) some higher spec parts, blued screws, and a "Geneva" type finish. These are also supposed to be hand made. I don't know anything about the one shopnbc has other than what U can read above. Once I found that out, I decided to cancel. You could buy both a Trias Backgammon and a Russian Poljot Aviator for almost the same money.
