imo the skeleton hands are the problem with the original dial and would rather see lume filled hands on any new dial...hand6.gif

FINE indeed, Anders!!Thumbsup3.gif

Anders, could you experiment by "fattening" that thin blue outer circle to be as "fat" as the inner circle. Thus we will have 2 fat circles on a black dial. Then for the 120 clicks, you might want to indent them closer to the center or advance them as much as you fatten that outer circle. Might look good, amigo!yourock.gif

Thank You everyone for their input. All pictures and ideas are just another options. Don't discount the dial that Zarith has done as well.

Here is the latest changes according to your valuable requirements.

Very nice, the broad full lume  hands look great.. Also reversing the numbers definitely improves the look of the dialThumbsup3.gif

ANDERS -- This looks fantastic ... only it occurs to me that you could replace 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 with round lume markers for more traditional look.  Stainless version and SS w/ PVD bezel.   Speaking of the bezel numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 are too close to the outside edge... remove the small lume dot, and center the numbers on the bezel... IMO would look better.

I like the small detail Swiss Made in lime green.  You might want to use some more lime green on the second hand?  Minute markers on the chapter ring?  THANKS, Jim

Oscar -- what do you think of making the hour hand square tip, and widening the minute hand ala plonguer ?  I've always like that sort of custom treatment, and this watch might be fitting of such touches. Jim

Anders, Rhino-Ranch raises very good and very legitimate points on the dial and bezel which could  greatly improve the aesthetics of the dial and bezel. I agree with him. He is also correct about the bezel numbers being too close to the edge. Replacing the hour/number markers with traditional dots would, IMHO, turbocharge the look. Use of a plongeur minute would also be nice. I like that minute hand concept lots.hand6.gif

Could you post a side by side presentation of your last rendering and the points of Rhino Ranch? Might be worth it.

Good Luck on a potentially strong winner of a watch!
