I just got the back yesterday so I thought I'd share. I really liked this watch, but I think it might be one of my favorites now. I just can't decide which strap I like.

pics deleted due to size, please read the forum rules 800x600 is the max,TY

I hope you can comply with forum rules on pic size and post the watch again. I'm curious what it looks like. thumbsup.gif

Oagaspar as the moderator, you may want to find a less offensive Xmas avatar, some women on this forum find your sense of humor crass, and tasteless and you should be setting the example for others to follow.

By the way: My woman find it simply funny. Maybe that's because she's a crass mathematician...dog smile.gif

It's maybe 1 1/2 to 2 years that I didn't see any woman manifesting herself here at 3T...
I don't find this avatar offensive: Maybe that's just because I'm a crass roughneck??

Are you kidding me?...your username may also seem offensive to many on 3T but no one has asked you to change it....my avatar is a cartoon that was in 100's of publications during last Xmas and is not a topic of discussion in this thread nor any.

You took it right from my mouth Oscar. I found his username offensive from the first day.
I, personnaly, have zero tolerance for guys who present themself to me in real life with a nickname like that: Just feel like I have to test the man at once

No kidding. Are you a Representative for all of WOMANHOOD? You 11 posts entitle you to dictate forum policy to the guy who actually pays the bills so you can make inane comments on microbrands?

I am an amputee who suffered a horrific motorcycle crash so I know a think or too about BONEKRUSHING and find your handle offensive, but I suck it up because this isn't my personal world... I'm a guest in it just like everyone else.

Whatever... Happy Holidays or is that offensive too?I left it broad enough to encompass all belief systems I hope!!

BTW nice move on the DLC!thumbsup.gif

it's not worth getting worked up over Guys....what is sad is that Bonekrusher decided his non watch related opinion in another members thread....in the future if you have a problem with how we run things I would hope you take it to pm....however if you find something so simple as a cartoon offensive you may want to search out a forum more fitting to your tastes...

my apologies to Rich34...

Lets not all get upset over nothing, first of all Paxman, Im sorry that you are an amputee, and that you find my handle offensive, it was a nickname that I was given years ago during my orthopedic residency, I can always change it, I served several tours with the Marines so I have had my share of bonekrushing and amputations. If everyone is offended by my handle I can change it, to me it is not a big deal. I am not trying to represent all women, I just did not want things to head down hill from here on Xmas, one holiday I still enjoy.

I apologize wholeheartedly and without reserve to the entire board and community for this interruption and distraction, and I would like to turn the page on this and get back to what we are here for, the time pieces. I hope we can do that.

Nice DLC Vortex. I love it.
For those who like something black, stay tuned. As we have something up our sleeves real soon. And I am sure it will be a good addition to those who already have the Vortex. *wink wink*

Thanks guys! I got it done by a member on wus, Avitt. Turn around was quick, about five weeks and this stuff is really tough. I've changed the strap quite a few times and made plenty of slips with the screwdriver. It hasn't left any marks at all.

Very Nice, Cool Mod on your Vortex….and more importantly IMO, am very happy to read that the DLC is performing well….cool.gif

I’ve booked marked your thread for future reference, because I contacted Mr. Thayer in regards to his mil/spec ceramic coating a few months back and have since been on the fence.

From what you posted regarding the cost to have this DLC coating done.  The ceramic is a couple of "C" notes more (maybe three....LOL), but this however, may be an alternative.

Thanks for posting this mod and photos….bravo.gif

Lance

PS Rich, I really like the look!!!!!  Thanks again!!!!!

jm2c.

Coca Cola is the REAL thing, you may prefer Pepsi or RC cola. Doesn't make you wrong or anything, just makes you weird in my opinion.

The DLC mod is tasty! I think I like the black strap with the blue stitching most on it.
