Getting ready to launch our "Project C" preorders, and will post details here once finalized.

I'm playing with a couple of wrinkles to keep it interesting - is anyone familiar with Kickstarter? I've turned into a bit of an addict over the last several months, and I think we're going to try and launch via Kickstarter to take advantage of this whole new-fangled social media / internets thing. [Ok, so maybe I'm not quite that backward, but it should be interesting...]

Salient details, with more to follow:

- Chunky 316L stainless steel chrono, ETA quartz movement (sweep minutes and seconds), sapphire crystal, 200m WR. Two dial options, blue and black (black dial has MOP subdials).

- Preorder price in US will be $495, shipped. (International orders add'l $50 s/h)

- Usual top-notch BH package with dive box packaging, steel bracelet (safety clasp), leather strap, and rubber strap

- Preorders will also get a second bezel option (I have had both dive bezel and GMT / 12-hr. bezels created) - people seemed to enjoy this last time, and this one called out for a 70s-style 12-hr. bezel, I think.

- First week or two of preorders may also be able to specify custom hand combinations (if I get them to the assembly team before they finish work in Switzerland!). Colors/options are posted on our Facebook page and will follow here shortly.

- Watch deliveries should be within about 30 days of preorder launch (I've purposefully held off to minimize this window so folks aren't waiting long!)

Feel free to holler out questions, I will try to update this thread shortly with full details, pictures, and links.

When you say sweep you mean like an automatic movement e.g the sub dial in a Panerai seconds' hand? Which movement is it?

When I say sweep, I mean the chrono timing function uses both large hands - seconds and minutes timers. (It's unusual in modern-day chrono movements to have the large minute timers).

We are using a version of the ETA 251.262 in this watch.

I heard of Kickstarter, I think that is what Berkbinder and Brown used for the launch of the Tool watch.

Are you going to have the sliding extension or a regular flip-lock?

Will there be a mesh bracelet option?

Run numbers? (How many total?)

I think I like the darker stemmed sweep hand as opposed to the white. It matches the sub-dials on the blue face better and will appear "floating"

Kickstarted is fine by me, just let me know when it's a go...

Hi, guys - sorry for the delay - they've actually assembled them, but keep getting the hand color combinations wrong - hopefully this last time will do the trick! if so, they should be here within a couple of weeks, all of 'em.
