Hey Chris my friend ! peace.gif

Really cool choices.
I like the patina very much. And the watch itself, of course. wowzer.gif

And the SEIKO is a really cool timepiece. Especially the dial. I like the simple indices.

Thanks very much for the kind words Phil!!!thankyou.gif

It was cool to see how fast the bronze patina responded to a warm, humid, salty environment...now, why can't Colorado have an ocean???subtlelaugh.gif

I agree with you...cannot go wrong with the SKX series Seikos! They are direct and to the point (with huge bang-for -the-buck IMO), and I really like the placed indices of the SKX399.

BTW...I always enjoy seeing your Zixen Mechanik...love that one!!!my love.gif

I'm expecting my first bronze watch in May. I'm very excited. The deposit is done...

The SEIKO SKX399 is a very rare model in the SKX line. I see this model not often.

The Mechanik is one of my favorites of my ZINEX/ZIXEN family.

Good morning all. Hope you have a great Sunday.
I started with the Riseman early this morning for a walk in the beach and will wear it to the pool happy guy.gif

Then I'll switch to the awesome Planet Ocean thumbsup.gif

Brice...been out with the family on a spring break beach vacation this past week, and obviously missed a new arrival!!!!!happy guy.gif

WooHoo!!! BIG congrats on the new arrival PO there amigo!!!!thumbsup.gif Is this an XL or regular PO? Looks awesome!!! wowzer.gif

We will have to see where this one ranks with some of your favorites...will it stay or go???

Hoping you enjoy it for a long time buddy!!!

thankyou.gif Chris. I absolutely love the PO. Gotta full kit even dealer invoice, tag and cloth thumbsup.gif from a great seller I had delt with before. I have no regrets at all, its an amazing piece and it was worth selling the SMP2254 to partly fund it. The PO and Bremont SM500 were my two Grails. I'm glad I got it and it'll stick around long term.. Unless I upgrade to a nicer PO subtlelaugh.gif seriously it's a keeper and I can see myself wearing it most days at work taking wrist time away from the Alpina and Raven.
Oh and by the way I got it Thursday and I had another .. Ahem... Huge arrival Wednesday night too so you may want to check the threads from last week ah ah!! happy guy.gif

Nice Brice!!!...very glad to hear you are lovin' the PO!!!!happy guy.gif

I'm thinking the 2254.50 and PO are different enough that you can have both in the lineup...No? (Believe me, I know you will add one again if you ever get the itch).

Oh...and I did take a peek back to Wed/Thurs, so big congrats on the "other" new arrival...the new ride which will definitely serve you well for hauling the bikes and kids and will no doubt serve you sweetly on you beach vacation!!!thumbsup.gif ...so please do enjoy ALL the new arrivals amigo and enjoy the family time on a well earned vacation too amigo!!!happy guy.gif

Thanks buddy...thankyou.gif...you are right, the Nimo on Isofrane absolutely rocked in the ocean (wore it tons as we nearly lived at the beach and in the water on this vacation - we went to Siesta Key Florida this time - weather and water were superb).thumbsup.gif

Looks like you've got the watch front covered for your beach vacation...enjoy it all amigo, and have a great vacation!!!
