I am loving the polished hands!!! I can see several great cues from other brands incorporated here. What is the bezel made of?

Are we talking aluminum or something else? Clear coating over metal?

WOW!!  The Sea Snake is another great looking Benarus piece...I'm also really diggin' the optional, adjustable meshy.  Congrats Steve and Ralf on adding another terrific piece to the line-up.  Not sure which I'll add to my ever growing Benarus collection yet.  Have a good one and Happy Collecting ALL.

alloy is a mix of metals. it is the same as the polished Megalodon insert that is on the polished cased Megalodons.

Yet another winner Steve!!!bravo.gifhappy guy.gif

I really like how this one looks in these real world pics...sweet!!!thumbsup.gif

The 24mm lugs give this one a unique track, and I absolutely love the bezel design top to bottom.  Could you tell me what the Lug-to-Lug length on the Sea Snake is Steve?

Thanks!

Stop it Steve. I have an orange Moray, just got the Raven Vintage and waiting for the Olivier Bronze. Have decided not to buy any watches in the near future and then you pop up with this snake.

Scary thing about wearing the Sea Snake, for almost a full day...and night :)...
I could imagine having this as the only watch I would wear...it's THAT comfortable, the bracelet is as comfortable...or more...than any Rolex.
The dial is nicely readable...and beautifully designed, of course (as always...Steve excels in this department).
I grew up with all my most beloved figures...including my mother...wearing period Submariners...some from WWII...others boughtt at different periods, for diving... I bought my first Sub, some where on the shore of Scotland, when I was 18. I say all this, because I have never been drawn to orange minute hands...for that reason...they look 'out of place' to me... HOWEVER...the shade of orange that Steve used, combined with the boldness of the hour hand, made this the first watch I have ever bought, with an "orange" minute hand.

...Steve was right, as well...that the bezel mechanism is the smoothest of any watch I have ever owned...

I look forward to wearing this watch for years, and buying other variations (dial color, Ti, chrono?).

Man, I thought they might be a few months in the offing. I thought the original renderings were proof of concept before final approval and production. I was shocked to open the Benarus website and find them available already. Very nice.

Unfortunately a minor motorcycle accident has me sidelined from work for a couple months taking any watch out of my budget for a little while. I have decided to just torture myself with reports of all the great limited editions I will miss out on, and dream of being back in the watch hunt again.

Another stunner Steve.

I must admit to being becoming a total fan boy of Benarus with one beautifully 'clean' designed dive watch after another. I just need more money!

All of their watches appear well built and keepers, I wish Benarus good luck on this new endeavor that from the looks of it will sold out pretty soon!!ThumbsUp02.gif

You could spend hundreds and dare I say $1000 more on a watch, but why would you? #75 in the house. The blue dial is just beautiful, from the stadium bezel to the slightly domed crystal. Perfectly executed polished and brushed surfaces. Lastly for me, I'm glad Steve and Ralf chose a tapered bracelet, so much more comfortable. Winnerbravo.gif

Thanks Brice! thankyou.gif

The design, fit/finish is really spectacular. A standout for me right way was the extremely solid, crisp, 120 click bezel action (no wiggle whatsoever)... and the extremely smooth crown action when screwing in/out and adjusting. All this, in addition to the unique design with cool stadium bezel, and well done double domed sapphire crystal and case/lug design.

You will love it Brice!happy guy.gif

Go Stew...no mincing words...short and to the point!

Steve...hmmm... I think I'll take a brushed Ti Seasnake with a matte grey dial, and matte black hands, if you ever feel like it...
Then some really bright cool colors!
Chrono... I don't wear chronometers any more (ship, can I even spell the word?)
BUT...I think this case would look LOVELY...in a chrono.

Just received my Sea Snake here in Afghanistan. Wow! What a great everyday watch whether for dress or casual. This watch could be worn in similar occasions to Rolex Sub or Planet Ocean. The first, emotion is quality, quality....As mentioned before the bezel movement is among the best out there. Weight is excellent and the sculpting of the case makes you want to touch it. The finish on the watch polished/brushed satin is beautiful. The photos of this watch don't show off the quality. I have several Benarus watches and this is one of the best. The crown has a nice heavy, smooth, crisp feel when winding or screwing back to the case. The case is a 44mm but wears smaller like a 42mm. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and the watch wears like a mid-size watch. Great job Steve
