Thinking about getting a Seiko Tuna SBN017 but would like input from forum about the other Tunas.....Baby, etc. Is the SBN017/015 worth the $$$$ or are the baby tunas just as good? TIA

About other Tunas you say?....Just my opinion and just based on my own experience, go for the real thing. Go for the bigger tunas.

Greg, I agree with Jeff and Oscar.

The Prospex line of Tunas, including the SBBN017 that you are considering, is going to be considerably better built than the Baby Tuna line. You really can't compare the two, but the price points aren't really comparable either.

The Baby Tuna line is not bad for what it is...I have the SRP453...a cool piece, but I'm looking to get rid of the plastic shroud that comes on it and replacing it with an aftermarket metal shroud.

Thanks guys....kinda what I was thinking. I'm liking the 017 because of the SS bezel. Kind of tired of the black bezel look but that's just me....
