Would of loved to own an Original, but this is as close as I'm gonna get.
Longines Legend Diver. I've always been a fan of the 2 crowns & super compressor case. This IMO is as close to the original rendition as possible, would of preferred an acrylic crystal too but I'm way happy.Love the internal bi-directional diving bezel amazing how easily these crowns are to manipulate.
The real wood presentation box far exceeds much higher priced timepieces.
Movement is a Longines caliber L633 (ETA2824-2), 28.800 bph, 38 hours of power reserve
22mm Strap that is incl.is way comfy made of a synthetic material (like sail cloth straps) that comes w/ the watch the underside has a lining of a felt-like material..& @ the sweet spot of 42mm I'm ALL good
Love the caseback w/ the little diver dude on it.

Enough babbling here

Thanks for taking a peek & reading my long winded post but I feel like 1o yr old boy who just recieved his first kissmy love.gif

REALLY like this one William! Thumbsup3.gif

Big Congrats...I'm with you on the 2 (nicely beefy) crowns and the super compressor styled case. So much to like with this one and the no-date keeps everything super clean. bravo.gif

I expect this one wears larger on the wrist too with all that "perceived dial" due to the internal bezel. Your new arrival and post reminds me how much I continue to like this one! thumbsup.gif

Enjoy it buddy!!!

Thanks my friend, 42mm sweet spot for me,it def. wears larger.I've heard complaints on the lugs & I'm not understanding it as it hugs my wrist & w/ the supplied comfy strap it makes it even more comfortable.I see this 1 hogg'n my rotation for awhilewhichone.gif

**Wish I could put to use the different fonts offered here I don't understand y they don't wrk-ever since I've been back ?? **

Big congrats again Will ! thumbsup.gif

I like that one really much.
Like you, I am a big fan compressor style divers.

So the Longines Legend Diver is absolutely stunning.

The dial of the no date version looks perfect.

Nice package from Longines as well.mini me.gif

Have fun with that one Will !

Kudos, William. I keep looking at that piece whenever I see the ADs store window. It is not a common design and to me, looks more expensive than what it sells for. Enjoy!
