Yesterday I decided to wear my Victorinox watch which has a 6498 movement. I set the time and started winding it. After 4 or 5 turns, I heard/felt a click. I kept winding it, and then another click. I wound it until it stopped, but when I let go of the crown, it unwound pretty fast (crown rotating counter-clockwise on its own). I can't wind it at all now - the crown will turn, but does not wind the watch.

Just a FYI... hands move with no problem. When I shake it, I can hear something rattling around.

It could also be the click lever that keeps the mainsping from unwinding! The click lever is a much easier fix, fingers crossed...

Dodged a bullet. Turned out to be the screw in the middle of the ratchet wheel that came loose. $5 fix.
