Worth the wait, about half a year but I was willing to wait for the Merkur to get the bracelet and it also was worth the wait!

Highlights include:

Miyota 9015 (haven't confirmed by opening the watch but it does sound exactly like a 9015 and that is probably a better indicator than appearance even...),

Sapphire,
One piece case,
Fat springbars,
Perfect SS bracelet,

My first impressions are it's scary scary spot on, it's only the second homage I've ever seen or held that really checks all the boxes of the original and makes me want to wear it.

The bezel action is not quite "Seiko" but is quite nice, insert alignment is a little off on mine so I may play with correcting it once I get tired of wearing it.

The bracelet quality rivals the Seiko and may even be better construction than the real MM bracelet, all I can do is stare at it!
The genuine MM bracelet link is a weird two or three piece design I've never tried to take one apart to see how they really are made but they are sandwiched together top to bottom. The MERKUR bracelet is a traditional Swiss style with an actual three piece mid link (polished side pieces and brushed center) with an Omega style pin and collar setup, I simply can't imagine how he got these made for less than what the whole watch sold for!

The Miyota 9015 is running predictably well which is to say consistently in a league above the Seiko offerings and fittingly probably as well as the 8L in the real MM from Seiko.

Case fit and finish is remarkable, lug holes are precise and centered in the brushed edge, the brushed edge is uniform and true. The fat springbars and endlinks are well fit to the case, the whole thing is simply a step above what I've come to expect from Chinese made Micro's...

The Crafterblue rubber for the MM300 will fit on these perfectly so I may try one of their rubber straps next and I do have a genuine MM300 clasp coming since this watch does deserve a divers extension.

The "Sharky" version of the MM300 homage uses an eta or eta clone and I understand a bracelet is available for the "Sharky" model now but isn't as nice...

Well at the very least it is a great daily wear watch if you are afraid wear your real MM300 to work!

I was fortunate enough to score a spare bezel for my MM300 from ebay for next to nothing so I am pretty fearless about wearing mine but the whole Merkur or Sharky or Ouroboros whichever brand you may choose is cheaper than the bezel for the MM300.

If it makes you nervous that it looks too much like the real Seiko remember it's still just a ripoff of the rolex and the rolex is just a ripoff of the sundial...

originally I think the Merkur was supposed to have the Miyota for the first run and change to one of the seiko movements later so if you don't like it for the wrong movement that may sort it self out in the next version...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Merkur-Japan-Tuna-Diver-Automatic-wristwatch-MarineMaster-Man-sbdx001-Homage-/172979451229

this is the link for it on his ebay store, the price is not real, only intended to keep you from buying it at the moment, regular price is 329 when he has them again...

I think it will probably be February before he is caught up and with CNY there will probably be a shipping delay anyway but you might also check out his tuna homages...
The general consensus is that the Merkur branded stuff is slightly better than the sharky though a few people have complained they don't care for the Merkur name much...
