WOW!!!! Thanks Oscar!!! Those are some awesome vintage cars!!!!:shock::shock::shock: I particularly like the BMW cos it is very unique and unusal!!!:):):)

Those cars are like NOS!!! LOL!!!:P:P:P The engine compartments are almost oil/grease free! Just like showroom pieces!

Owning a vintahe car is a "HUGE" investment really.:shock::shock: Not only the parts are hard to find and expensive, virtually it is not worth for one to drive and chalk up mileage. But if a car does not start or use often, there might be problems too. So it is very contradicting too!:?:?:?

Thanks for the Studebaker pics. Last I heard, there were only 1,500 Studebaker's left in the U.S. They'll never be worth all that much, but I sure do like the design of the 53-57 models. I grew up with a little Studebaker dealership within a short bike ride of my House. An AMC dearship was across the street!

Nice Oscar... real sweet pics.  I'll have to get me a photobucket account for all my car pics too!

NEWS FLASH!  AS of an hour or so ago, Chip Ganassi racing has made an official news conference that Juan Pablo Montoya will be joining NASCA in 2007 in both Winston and Bush series.  JPM is leaving Formula 1 at the end of this season...and A.J> ALmendigger is leading at the Moslon GP in Toronto...

Oh yeah. These float my boat.

I noticed many that are worthy of mention - but the Toyota S2000, the Merc 280SE 3.5 coupe, the hotrod new Mustang, the Sunbeam Tiger and the  Pontiac GTO are the ones that I hanker for. Oh well... one day...

You might not be aware, but in Perth in Western Australia there is a very strong hot rod and car culture. We have many car shows here every year and the best IMHO are the Porsche and Mercedes days (the latter becuase we have a lot of old Merc 600 Pullmans and Grossers here, and for a 5mpg car they are just freakin gorgeous...). I am inspired to take a few pics of our shows this year and let you guys see what I am talking about.

Thanks for sharing, Oscar - great fun stuff! Drool_27.gif

Cheers - IanM
