Can anyone tell me WHAT IS the limited production line is?! I have searched and can not seem to find how many they make a year? Is it 500 or 999? Seeems to me if it was limited they would let ya know how many they are going to produce. By the way, has anyone seen the yellow one on the bay? Asking $2000.00 Thanks.

I am not the Seiko go to person, but I believe that the blue is a limited distribution ,only in Japan, rather than a limited edition.  I have one and like it but I do not wear yellow watches and have passed up every yellow mon. that I have seen being sold.

Thank you. So to me then- it is NOT A TRUE limited piece. Since they can flood japan, and then japan resells them everywhere else. Being numbered does not mean a thing when the count can go on untill nobody wants them anymore.

I don't think they are flooding a Country with the Blue Monsters....We would Be seeing Much More of them here if that was the case....Limited Production doesn't always carry a Specific # of Pieces like a Limited Edition does:) One Day Seiko may say OK stop the Blue Monster Run...and it's Over...exactly How Many will be made No One knows....but I bought My Blue Monster based on Looks and Not future collectibility...it is an Upgrade from the OM and BM ...as it has a Sapphire Crystal and Uses the 7S36 Movement like the YM Thank you. A lot of seiko's that are limited are 3000 pieces that is a lot to me, the yellow M. is 300 from what I rember.  If I buy a Seiko limited it is for a feature that I want rather than the collectability of it, but that is just me.

O, you were posting when I did, and said it better.

I did not mean to ruffle any feathers about this subject. I do like the watch for what it is. And will get one shortly. I just wanted to know some more info. about them. Thanks for the replies. Anyone know where I can make a deal to get two orange monsters and a blue at the same time? Maybe save a little $$$ by doing it all at once.

Dave...You didn't ruffle any feathers Buddy :P It's just that so many are mis-informed by TV Watch Shows that when a Company like Seiko says Limited Production #'s they feel it is Infinite...Like another Company We All Know Too Well :P Ty Eric for the 3000 figure...I thought this was What most Companies considered a Limited Production...such as Doxa that does put a # of 5000 and Some Less :) I did not mean to ruffle any feathers about this subject. I think Doxa limits it to 5000 because they would have a hard time selling 6000 of each mod..  Hell Corum made 100,000+ Trapeze (all sizes) and they hold there value well and are collectible.  Doxa has not sold all of the T-graphs and they only made 250, I own one and others at this forum do, there has got to be 248 other suckers out there :D, but to be serious Doxa's are great that is no joke.
