I bought this supposedly new Invicta off of ebay. It wasn't brand new (as advertised in the auction), and it was missing one link. But, it was well worth the price I paid for it. Had I seen this model in person, I doubt I would have purchased the two tone 3075 model (I got it from shopnbc). The all silver one is nicer looking to me. But, the two tone is still a keeper as well. The crown on this model works way better than my old 2014 I had. Bezel isn't as smooth, but not a big deal. This is a heck of a watch for the money.

I don't understand why Invicta didn't bring back the 2015. It's a beautiful watch.

Hope you enjoy it mike!!!:D Just an idea, but the margins may not have worked out the way management wanted and at the time building a reputation was as if not more important than the margins.

Eric, if margins were a big deal to Invicta they have a funny way of showing it. The current 3075 and 2014 models started out on shopnbc at $450. Now they are down to $250. The original 2014/2015 got sold off with a free watch winder at $229 or so. They make a nice watch and then whore it out. The only model I haven't seen them do that with is the 9937. They have dropped the 9938/39 price, but not much on the 9937. :)

The watch industry works on higher margins than you think, apparently. This is a luxury product not a commodity. You are buying from the "manufacturer" no middle man except for Slop that wants a small % not the typical markup. They are making more on every watch sold through Slop then they are one they sell to there dealers I believe. The margins is why they moved the contracts to China. When you are buying ETA movements 5000 at a time they get cheep, which is what ETA wants anyway. They want to sell 5000 Chinese parts ETA pieces and not the pure Swiss ETA pieces, if you watched the shows on shopathometv this Saturday the president of Jean Marcel said the same thing.
