Hello Everybody! What does everyone think of MarcelloC watches? Ever play touchy-feely with them? I am contemplating bringing in the brand and wanted to hear thoughts (you were all so kind to give me your thoughts on QuadTec!) (I know Dan Z has one that would be the envy of any collection!) Thanks- Marc (Big IW) Last edited on Fri Oct 13th, 2006 08:25 am by IW |

Mark, I have owned a couple. Excellent fit and finish, big and heavy feel to them. You can tell they are a quality piece. Little pricey IMHO and most divers are homage looks to that R brand. They also do internet sales, are you willing to compete with them on the same level, or do you have another outlet for them?

Never compete, always 'partner'. That's what its all about. People compete on brands like Invicta. I'm all internet, but am also represented very well on Amazon and other shopping sites. I agree with you on the 'pricey' comment - they would be the 'top of the line' for me; but I think they bring some great things to the table. thanks- Marc

It would depend on the amount of initial capital requited, the margins on the brand, and unit sales figures that they would add to your site overall or would they compete with any of the brands you already sell. If they just drew sales from other watches on your site it would work out that you were competing with yourself. The thing that you know very well is you bring additional exposure to the brand, in the various spots that you have product placement, of which takes time and resources. The only question I would ask you is the additional time and money worth it? From the little I know the brand is solid.
