Not any different than most products! I paid $1000 when the HDTivo came out earlier and within a few months the prices were down to less than $500!!!! that's just the way the market works on most items, particularly technology---which a watch is not!!!!!:D

IT products always go down in cost from the manufaturer. The price of electronic components is based on an entirely different structure. The price of watch compnents has not decreased. In fact they keep going up. These fluctuations are coming from and part of their profit margin. If they are selling a $500 watch for $250 now, then, they were charging $250 more than they should have been.

You're right. They all overcharge, but, nobody with any sense wants to see their purchase go down in price, especially, from the same people they bought it from. I'm certainly not playing that game again with them and I know a lot of other folks feel the same way. I think their whole business plan is to take adavantage of new consumers.

It's reached the point I don't even care what the opening price is; within a few minutes they'll have a "surprise" of $300 off, or something equally ridiculous.

Or, all I have to do is wait until a Clearance, Columbus Day, Special event, etc.  Then, it'll be another hundred off and 5 Value pays instead of 3, or whatever.

I think that they think we're stupid and haven't caught on.  What twits!

Reputable brands like Patek Phillipe, Rolex, Omega, Breitling and many other well known brands are able to keep their price tag and even raise their prices. Invicta is not at that level, specially having a terrible customer service like they have. This is a game, Eyal know he can sell a pretty good amount of those watches for that kind of money before he lower the prices.  Those who spend that kind of money on an Invicta has little experience how this whole thing works and end up loosing a lot of money. Invicta had a lot of respect a few years ago, they had very good watches for a very reasonable price; things changed and the brand is not what it used to be back then. Invicta has a lot of nice well made watches but the price, customer service and a few other mistakes kills the brand. I miss the old days.
