ok so I was too cheap to just buy a Steinhart but I stumbled into this little gem on the bay last week and so far I'm not sorry!

From what I know, Robert and Steinhart are the same company ? ? ?

Anybody else know anything about that?

Marc they are one and the same!
The warranty card even says as much.

I don't see the divers watches sold under the Robert name anymore and I don't see the cheap chinese movement models sold under Steinhart.

My guess is one is the ugly step child and the other is not, though I would also guess somebody from Steinhart/Robert would describe it a bit differently smile4.gif

It is a great watch and love the color.  I believe some one told the management back in early 2005 to get there head out of there asses, since then they have redirected the company.  Congratulations!!!:D:D:D
