As much as I enjoy the "activity" on another forum I inhabit, I have not got the strength to read 20 or 30 goofy posts over the right and wrong of fakes versus real.

So, here it is on this great forum!






















The fact of this controversy which captivates me most is the simple FACT that replica watch forums and sites are absolutelt thriving right now!

Most of the traditional watch forums are in the midst of a secular down turn and are relatively quiet except for regular posters and stalwarts. The fervor surrounding these fake/replicas gives evidence to the simple fact that people are buying these watches like crazy!

I know of a highly trained watch expert, which we all know, who took a fake Rolex in trade for one of his most beloved diamond watch. He had to take it to a dealer to verify that it was a fake. Whatever anyone thinks of fakes that is the only part that  worries me.
