No!! I saw that too and even lurked about and saw the orange and green CF variations...

For me it won't do. If I was going to wear one of those it would have to be the real deal and there is no way I can do that at this point... or probably ever!!

I implore you do not do it... that is unless you decide to begin the never ending modifications...that would be interesting!!

PEACE!!

I hear you Pax...but for me too the Bell & Ross is not an option right now. hence, for the price...$249 I say why not?!  I think it's a sharp take on the B&R . I have always wanted one but felt they were too pricey.  Will keep you posted on my impressions of the watch upon arrival. ~E boy10.gif

I hear ya... Steinhart offers an homage with Swiss bits and construction for a bit more, but I am certain the watch would last a lot longer...

Haha! I know fellas...it was a total lapse, actually I will let myself off the hook. I forwarded it to my Girlfriend and she ordered it straight from her job. So I had no time to debate...I asked her if she got the email when she arrived at ahome and she said, "Yes I ordered it for you."  I was kinda psyched...I think she took the pressure off. And hey, it's free!!!!!

""Be honest now Mike...how many Invictas have you had to send in for repairs?...if it's more than 1 than that's 1 too many...:D""

Ooops! Wrong question for me. I have never sent in any of my own watches. I have one baby lupah that is dead (2.5 years old). And, one Angel needed repairs. Both my wife's watches. She is very hard on her watches.

Now, what have I sent in for repair other than Invicta that I own. One Black Monster. Sent in three times to get it fixed. One Seiko quartz watch. Died right after I got it. Sent in and got it back two months later. A Seiko Quartz Dive watch gave up the ghost after two years. It wasn't worth getting fixed.

Let's see. Six or so bad Stuhrling watches. Every thing from crown's coming off to DOA's.  I got two DOA Corums Mystiques.  My Trapeze went in for repair three times in two years.

Two bad Trias watches. One DOA. Sent it to Germany. Another Trias went back to the Father land three times before they fixed it. One bad Elysee. Sent it back.

One bad Croton Auto (like I just got, only with a black dial) came with stripped threads on the Crown. Sent it back. One, Croton came with a broken clasp. They sent me a new one.

One Jacques Lemans came DOA. Sent it in for repair. It took nearly three months and three tries to get it fixed. SWI finally just replaced it (to their credit).

One DOA Vostok-Euro. Sent it back. One bad Stovard Jurgenson. That is all I can remember at the moment. But, there have been others. I have bought about 50 to 75 Invictas. Not one problem with any of the divers or the Lupah's. smile25.gif

I have been lucky too, never had to send one back. Any watch except for my 6309 1984 Seiko. It's back and running like COSC.
