Very nice .Is there any history behind the model name? Maybe an epic journey pitting man against nature(I.E the feirce antarctic).If not it is still a very nice watch a story behind it would make it even better though.:DIt would have the added cachet of having been tested against natures fury!

A very limited production run of 1000 black dial and 1000 blue dials were created to commemorate the 1998-2001 Antarctic Scientific Expedition.  I can find no evidence to suggest the watches were issued or used on said expedition.
