OK, so I'm sure some of you remember my only Invicta repair saga. My Black S-1 has run consistently fast since I got it back a few months ago. I'd like to start wearing it more, but I think it got magnetized somehow. It's been running about 20 minutes fast per day. It was fine for a couple days, then right back to the same crap. How do I get it demagnetized? And secondly, if it's not magnetized, and I get it demagnetized, could it hurt the movement? TIA! David

Thanks for the link Kurt, but I think that buying a product just for this would be a waste, as (hopefully) I'll never need it again. I was wondering if there was a particular place (jeweler, electrictian, etc) that might have the equipment necessary to do the job? Any ideas? I know that Eric Avery has mentioned demagnetizing stuff in the past, but I just don't know where to get it done. Thanks for all the suggestions, David

David,,why would you think it got magnetized?....it's probably more like Eyalized:P...send it back ...there has to be a grace period on repairs so you don't have to pay another $20....but for around $35. any qualified jeweler will regualate it if the Watch means that much to youhand6.gif..Great site Kurt!!!cool10.gif

I know it's probably cheaper, but I might try to regulate it myself. I can't get the back off, so I'll probably have to get a case back tool, and give 'er a try myself. Hell, the thing only cost me $50 to start with, so why not. I've tried w/ other tool to get the back off, will probably just break down and get a real one instead of using a pliers like I've done w/ my OGII's. The idiots at Invicta screwed the damn thing down too tight, probably ruined the seals to boot. Oh well, at least they accepted my $10 check (I highlighted the amount on my original receipt, and they accepted it!). Thanks for advice, David

The LG master is the best tool anywhere and it is made in the US. If you need help to regulate the Myota than just post it. http://www.ofrei.com/page557.html

Thanks for the link, I think I just need to pick up a decent caseback tool. I don't mind trying my hand at it, so I'll see how the regulation works out. Thanks again, David
