A Q&D of the Alfred Davis Tourbillon I ordered just before Christmas that just arrived today at noon. It came in a nice tri-fold wallet with the brown strap pictured as well as a black strap of the same quality. This is a hefty watch at 44mm and 15mm thick. The hands and dot on the bi-directional bezel are strongly lumed but not the numbers on the dial. The one minute tourbillon carriage is mesmerizing but I'll probably get used to it. This thing has a very unique fairly loud tick  that sort of has a little Bo Jangles rhythm going on. I'm timeing it and measuring the power reserve to guage performance.

I got mine from samson328 on the 'bay. I think that Samson Trading is just a marketing group out of Hong Kong. The box it came in was marked "Minorva". I negotiated directly with them at samson@samsonwatches.com  This is the sellers picture of the movement.

No model was mentioned but the movement was identified as a calibre coming from Liaoning Watch and probably assembled by Million Smart according to the moderator of a Chinese Watch Forum elsewhere.

Ty Edgel!...after even more research on Chinese Tourbillon and Lianing Watch I found that they are also Innovate Enterprises and found this Link of more Asian manufacturers...Lianing has a site in Chinese and has the exact Tourbillons sold on SAH/TT...I find this forum a bit more knowledgeable on Chinese movements than the one we visit at WUS although some translation is neccessary!:Phand6.gif Enjoy your tourbillon Buddy!cool10.gif
